What we collect
We only collect basic personal data about you, which includes name, address, email, and phone number.
We do not keep payment information such as credit/debit card details.
We do not hold any sensitive personal data (such as race, ethnicity, sexuality, political opinions, trade union activity etc).
How we collect this information
Information is collected in person and by telephone by staff when you are booking tickets and also collected online for customers who choose to book tickets online via theblaketheatre.org.
We have a check box system which enables either our staff or yourself (if booking online) to explicitly consent to the data being collected.
The ticketing service ‘TicketSource’ is used to collect information and to book tickets for shows.
The information we collect is held by TicketSource and Mailchimp who are external providers.What we do with the information we gather
We may use your data to administer:
- event attendance
- to contact you in case of cancellation or change in shows/events we hold
- periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided
- to send you promotional leaflets, brochures or other printed materials
- we may use the information to improve our products and services
- from time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, or post.
- We may also access the following information:
- previous booking information (e.g shows you have booked for previously including number of tickets sold)
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
